My experience at the NGO Arca Beta was incredible. I met people from all over the world united by the vision of preserving the environment, especially focused on the Peruvian Amazon. Although I volunteered remotely at the age of 17, it was a significant learning experience. Arca Beta showed that, even from a distance, our actions can have a considerable impact. Their focus on environmental education left a deep mark, and I now understand the importance of being responsible stewards of our planet. I am grateful to have been part of this family. Being part of Arca Beta is an enriching experience which gives the opportunity to expand the sustainable work we can each do individually. We use teamwork to learn, recognise and develop the tools needed to improve our environment as well as the personal resources that make the necessary changes sustainable over time individually for each of us, as well as our global community.

"I was very fortunate to start teaching music using programming alongside other talented volunteer teachers and schools. As someone in the technology industry, it has always been my sole mission to give back to society. Hence, I decided to structure a course to teach the students in Iquitos Scratch programming of how to make music. I did not want to make programming too complicated hence I tried using Scratch blocks that MIT designed to teach them simple ideas of programming. Thank you to the volunteers at Arca Beta and the school that I partnered with in Iquitos. Wishing the students to fly to greater heights with their dreams"

Working with arca beta has been amazing! It was very inspiring to see all the kids in iquitos had learnt so much just a year and were clearly so passionate about everything they were learning. It wouldn't have been possible without the immense care and empathy with which the team runs the programs.

Arca Beta is taking the children’s learning into heart. It is implementing social and environmental projects in the region of Loreto. Helping local schools to raise environmental awareness. Bringing necessary technologies and digital tools to the local schools. I’m honored I can be a part of this meaningful mission.

I have been having the pleasure of being in several meetings with ArcaBeta group. We are a group of internationals who has the same values and dreams: Working towards sustainable development goals to create a better world. When we started, it was just some Online Meetings to discuss our ideas, but slowly real projects developed and some of them were already executed by now. It is so nice to see that our work is fruitful, and that we are actually changing the world to the better.

More than ever in, environmental responsibility as human beings is urgent, and this has become more evident in present times. Learning to cooperate and find solutions together is the right way. Every child should have the right of education as we together aim for a better future with more possibilities and less inequality. My name is Alexandra, I am Peruvian and I work as an Environmental Engineer in the Large Scale Renewable Energy sector. I am very pleased to belong to the Arca Beta team and share the same vision as Miguel and Zulfia. Applying the different areas of work we have in the NGO, such as education, mental health and environment, is absolutely essential for the good performance of human beings! These axes will help children to develop their personalities and integrate into society on equal terms and achieving this will be rewarding for us as a team. I am Christian Llalli, a Peruvian environmental engineer with a deep commitment to social and environmental causes. As a founding member of the Center for Research in Advanced Materials for Water Treatment, Environmental Biotechnology, Climate Change and Meteorology, I am passionate about leading research focused on the development of innovative solutions to environmental challenges. Throughout my professional career, I have actively collaborated with cultural organizations and non-profit NGOs, dedicated to providing quality education to vulnerable populations where institutional intervention is insufficient. This passion for community service has led me to join Arca Beta, an organization that I joined at the invitation of one of its members, Alexa, and to share her vision of contributing to improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable communities.
